Artist Bio

Hello! I'm Alyssa, and I was born and raised in Colorado. I've been drawing since I've been able to hold a pencil. I would say that my real passion for art began when I was first introduced to digital art, which at the time was through the WiiU's art program known as Art Academy. During my freshmen year of high school, I was gifted a Microsoft Pro by my parents for both school and art. Using my own money, I bought Clip Studio Paint and I've been using this program ever since. That being said, I'm self-taught through drawing things that I love and sharing them with people who have the same interests :)

Aside from digital art, my traditional pieces stay in my sketchbook where I experiment with different mediums. My favorites are graphite, ballpoint pen (Bic is the best!), watercolor, and water-based markers. I tend to post a lot of sketches on social media because at the moment I'm focusing more on getting the linework and anatomy correct.

I aspire to further my artistic knowledge and step out of my artistic comfort zone in order to strive to take different approaches to better my art.

I've recently upgraded to a Wacom CIntiq 16 and Razer laptop for more drawing surface. My artstyle comes from what inspires me such as anime and video games. Therefore, most of my works are fanart for my favorite video games such as the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy VII. I'm currently trying to study the fundamentals such as anatomy and color theory while branching out to drawing other characters and people from real life!

I would say my goal for my art is to sell merchandise such as prints and charms and even go to a few Cons to sell them!
