Hello! I'm Alyssa, and I was born and raised in Colorado. I've been drawing since I've been able to hold a pencil. I would say that my real passion for art began when I was first introduced to digital art, which at the time was through the WiiU's art program known as Art Academy. During my freshmen year of high school, I was gifted a Microsoft Pro by my parents for both school and art. Using my own money, I bought Clip Studio Paint and I've been using this program ever since. That being said, I'm self-taught through drawing things that I love and sharing them with people who have the same interests :)
I've recently upgraded to a Wacom Cintiq 16 and a Razer laptop for more drawing surface. My art style comes from what inspires me, such as anime and video games. Therefore, most of my works are fan art for my favorite video games, such as the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy VII. I'm currently trying to study the fundamentals, such as anatomy and color theory, while branching out to drawing other characters and people from real life!
One of my art goals is to learn more graphic design concepts and develop ways to sell merchandise of my art, because I love conventions (I've only been to FanExpo Denver lol).
I also got a taste of creating a zine in DA1 and want to participate in collaborative zines. I'm working on an FF7 OC zine with some online friends and would like to get that done within the year.
