The first idea that I came up with made me pretty excited to get started so I’m most likely going to stick with this idea. It’s also the only idea that I was able to quickly add to it. The main idea is coming home from school and having to focus on schoolwork for a couple of hours. There will of course be editing to show the time skip but also that I’m bored out of my mind. When I eventually finish an assignment, I turn on my tablet and go on Pinterest to find inspiration for a quick digital art piece. Again, another time skip of 30 minutes to show that I haven’t found anything. Then crossfade into a roughly animated (unless I'm ahead of schedule) daydream to where I enter the world of Final Fantasy VII (I love this video game lol).
I’m able to take pictures and references for doodles and studies with my phone, then it snaps back to reality. Back in reality I (somehow) have the photos I took on my phone and am successfully able to reference and study the pictures taken. Happy end, I guess.
I think this idea will be easiest for me to work on because again, it's something that interests me, and the overall act of daydreaming about a fictional world is literally unavoidable to me so I think I’ll be able to animate that. I’ve done very minimal animation before (literally just blinking animations) but my plan for this is to film myself and then draw the frames on top of it to get an idea of accurate, realistic movement.
