DA2 - Project 1 Artist Statement

My Project consisted mostly of time and space themes. Because AI was something that was believed to be science fiction (and isn't considered that anymore), I leaned into what AI considers to be science fiction, and that was life and existence beyond our planet. Most of the original images that were generated were created using Art Breeder. My proncess for a few of my featured works was to manually create the glitch effect in Photoshop or Audacity and then ask ChatGPT to glitch the image itself. The reasoning for it being in this order is that when I had asked ChatGPT to glitch it beforehand, it would glitch the borders and try to preserve the original image.
